Disasters are something that we don't ever want to think about, but it's very important to have a plan just in case. Below are some links to sites that provide information on planning for a disaster. Some are location specific, but the idea can be used in almost any situation. Think of what area you're in and what kind of disaster (natural or otherwise) might affect you, your family, and your furry babies.
This site has very good planning information. Of course the location is prone to earthquakes, but their plans are a great idea. Plus, there are lots of links to other organizations like FEMA and The American Red Cross.
